Overstepping Boundaries in Caring for Dad

I want to start by saying I’m truly sorry for how I overstepped with Dad's care recently. I realize now that my comments and suggestions may have felt like I was undermining your choices and the way you’ve been lovingly caring for him. That wasn’t my intention, but I can see how it came across and how hurtful that must have been. You have always been so dedicated to ensuring his comfort and dignity, and I should have shown more respect for the way you manage everything. I can only imagine how challenging it must be to balance all of that, and I regret not being more supportive and understanding. Instead of helping, I added stress, and I’m sorry for that. Moving forward, I want to make sure I approach things differently. I promise to communicate more thoughtfully and to ask how I can best support you without imposing my ideas. Your insights and decisions deserve to take priority, especially since you’re the one who spends the most time with him. Please know that I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk about this. I truly value our relationship and want to rebuild any trust that was lost. I love you, and I’m committed to being a more understanding daughter.
