Being Rude and Disrespectful Recently

I am truly sorry for being very rude to you during our recent conversation. I raised my voice, spoke over you, and used harsh words that were disrespectful and hurtful. I know my tone and my interruptions made you feel dismissed and wounded, and I understand that coming from your child that must have been painful and disappointing. This was my behavior and my responsibility; there is no excuse for treating you that way. I regret how I acted and the upset I caused. You have always given me care and guidance, and I failed to show you the respect you deserve in that moment. To make this right, I will take concrete steps: I will pause and collect myself before responding when I feel upset, practice listening fully without interrupting, and remove myself from tense situations if I need time to calm down. If my reactions continue to be a problem, I will seek support—talking with a counselor or using techniques to manage my frustration—so I do not repeat this behavior. I want to repair the harm I caused and restore trust between us. When you are ready, I would like to speak in person, listen to how this affected you, and hear what I can do to make amends. I respect whatever time and space you need and am here to talk whenever you choose.
