I’m really sorry for going into your bedroom when I knew I shouldn’t. I didn’t respect your space, and I understand how that must have made you feel. I can only imagine how upset you were to find me there, and I truly regret any pain or frustration my actions caused you. I realize now that my curiosity got the better of me, and I should have thought about how it might affect you. I completely understand why you took my Christmas gifts away as a consequence. While it hurts to lose them, I know it’s a fair punishment, and I respect your decision. I want you to know that I’m committed to making this right. I promise I’ll be more mindful of your boundaries moving forward and won’t put either of us in this position again. Please take the time you need to process this. I care about our relationship and hope we can talk about it when you feel ready. I want to rebuild your trust and assure you that I’m learning from this mistake.
