I’m truly sorry for how my behavior has made you feel. I know I’ve come across as possessive and suspicious, and that’s not what I ever wanted. My intentions were never to make you feel trapped or questioned. I genuinely care about your well-being and want you to thrive, but I realize that my fears and protectiveness got in the way of your independence. Seeing you go through difficult times, I let my anxieties cloud my judgment. I wanted to shield you from pain, but instead, I may have added to it. That’s not fair to you, and I take full responsibility for that. I understand that my actions have impacted your trust in me and how you see your own path. Moving forward, I’m committed to changing my approach. I will work on giving you the space you need to make your own decisions. I want to listen more and control less, allowing you to express yourself without fear of my judgment. You deserve to be the queen of your own life, and I want to support you in that, not hinder you. Please know that I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk. I respect your need for time and space, but I hope we can find a way to reconnect.
