I’m really sorry for the way I brought up your faults the other day. It was thoughtless and insensitive, and I can only imagine how hurtful that must have felt. You didn’t deserve to be put on the spot like that, especially by me. I realize now that instead of having a calm conversation, I ended up sounding harsh and unfair, and that’s on me. I want you to know I take full responsibility for how I handled things. I wasn’t trying to attack you, but I see how it came across that way, and that’s not okay. You mean so much to me, and the last thing I want is to make you feel criticized or unloved. I’m sorry for making you feel small or misunderstood. Moving forward, I’m committed to being more thoughtful about how I bring up concerns or frustrations. I want us to be able to talk openly without hurting each other, and I’m willing to work on that with you.
