Posting an Inappropriate Joke About a Teacher

I want to sincerely apologize for the joke I posted on Instagram about you supporting ice. I realize now that it was thoughtless and could have been hurtful. I didn't consider how it might come across to you or how it could make you feel, and for that, I’m truly sorry. You dedicate so much time and effort to our class, and it was wrong of me to undermine that with a joke that may have seemed disrespectful. I can only imagine how you felt seeing that, and I regret causing you any discomfort or embarrassment. You deserve to be respected and appreciated for all that you do. Taking full responsibility, I want to assure you that I will be more mindful about the content I share moving forward. I’ve learned that humor can sometimes miss the mark, and I will think twice before posting something that could be misinterpreted or hurtful. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope we can move past this. If you’d like to talk more about it or share how it affected you, I’m here and open to listening. Your feelings matter to me, and I want to make things right.
