Kyle, I want to start by apologizing for not expressing how much you mean to me, especially during the moments when you’ve needed that recognition the most. I realize I’ve been caught up in my own world and haven’t taken the time to tell you how proud I am of the young man you’re becoming. You deserve to hear it more often, and I’m truly sorry for not making that a priority. I understand that my silence may have made you feel unappreciated or even undervalued. The truth is, you are the pride and joy of this family, and it breaks my heart to think that I might have made you doubt that. I see all the hard work you put in, and I want you to know that it never goes unnoticed, even if I haven’t said it enough. Moving forward, I promise to be more present and to communicate my love and appreciation for you openly and often. You deserve that from me. If you ever feel like I’m falling short again, please let me know. I want us to be able to talk openly about these things.
