I realize now that my comments may have made you feel unsupported or dismissed, and that's the last thing I want for you. I see how hard you’ve worked to pursue your passions, and my failure to recognize that was hurtful. I took your aspirations lightly, and I can only imagine how that felt for you. It’s not just about a career; it’s about your dreams, your identity, and the journey you’ve chosen. I realize my lack of faith in your decisions might have made you doubt yourself, and I regret that deeply. You deserve encouragement and belief in your abilities, and I want to change how I respond in the future. Moving forward, I’ll be more mindful and intentional in how I discuss your career. I want to listen more and offer support in a way that truly honors your choices. I also want to educate myself more about the field you’re in, so I can engage in meaningful conversations and show my support more effectively. Please know that I’m here to talk whenever you feel ready. Your feelings matter to me, and I want to rebuild the trust I may have broken.
