I need to start by saying I’m really sorry. I know I hurt you with my words last night, and I can’t tell you how much I regret that. I never wanted to make you feel dismissed or unimportant, especially when you were sharing something so meaningful to you. I realize now how my tone came across and how it must have made you feel—like I wasn’t listening or that your feelings didn’t matter. That’s the opposite of what I want you to ever feel. You mean the world to me, and I hate that I let my frustration get the better of me. I’m owning this completely, and I promise to be more mindful of my words and how I express my feelings moving forward. I want to work on being more patient and considerate, especially when we’re navigating tough conversations. You deserve that, and I want to be better for you. I understand if you need some time to process this. Just know that I’m here, ready to talk whenever you feel up to it. I love you deeply, and I hope we can move through this together.
