Claiming Someone Else's Photo as Mine

I'm sorry for posting that Instagram story and saying it was my photo when it wasn't. I lied, and I understand why you feel betrayed and hurt — especially because that picture meant a lot to you and you liked it the most. Finding out it wasn’t mine made you question what else I might hide, and I accept that calling me a liar and manipulative is a response to how I broke your trust. I take full responsibility. There’s no excuse for trying to take credit for someone else’s work or for not being honest with you. I see how my choice undermined the respect and honesty you deserve in this relationship. That was wrong. To make this right I’ve removed the story and I will credit the original creator. Going forward I promise to stop posting things that aren’t mine and to be transparent about what I share. If you want, I’ll show you any post before it goes up and be open about my social accounts until I rebuild your trust. I’ll also accept any boundaries you need while I earn your confidence back. I know apologies alone don’t fix this, and I’m prepared to show through actions that I’m trustworthy. I love you and I’m deeply sorry for hurting you. When you’re ready, I want to listen to how this affected you and figure out what you need from me — no pressure, take the time you need.
