I can see how my actions made you feel like I was always taking your boyfriend's side, and I never meant for that to happen. I realize now how much that hurt you, and the last thing I wanted was to make you feel betrayed or alone. Hearing you say you thought I might betray you in the future broke my heart. I never want you to doubt our friendship or feel like I'm not on your side. I’ve been thinking a lot about our friendship and how important it is to me. I want to do better and show you that you can trust me completely. I promise to be more mindful of how I respond when situations like this arise, and I’m committed to making sure you feel supported and heard. Please take all the time you need to process everything.
