Apologizing for Not Calling

I’m really sorry for what I said and did — I shouldn’t have acted that way, and I totally get how it upset you. I never wanted to hurt you or make you feel like I don’t respect our friendship. Looking back, I see how my words came off as dismissive and careless, and that’s on me. I messed up, plain and simple. I value our friendship way too much to let this slide or pretend it didn’t matter. From now on, I’m going to be more mindful about how I communicate and make sure I don’t repeat this mistake. If you’re open to it, I’d love to talk more about how you’re feeling and how I can make things right. But I also understand if you need some space. Thanks for hearing me out. I really hope we can get past this.
