I’m really sorry for how my new couple photo on my profile made you feel. I didn’t realize it would upset you, and I understand now that it hurt you because of our history and the way we’ve always shared things. It wasn’t my intention to diminish what we have or make you feel left out, and I genuinely regret if it seemed that way. I understand that seeing that photo might have made you feel replaced or undervalued as a friend, and I can see why that would be really painful. It’s frustrating when someone we care about seems to be moving on in a way that feels exclusive, especially when we’ve shared so much together. I take full responsibility for not considering your feelings before posting. It was thoughtless of me, and I can see how it could cause rifts between us. I want to be more mindful in the future about how my actions might affect you and us as friends. If you’re open to it, I’d love to talk more about how we can move past this.
