Damaging Your Guinea Pig and Making Amends

I’m really sorry about what happened with your guinea pig. I know it was a terrible mistake for me and the guys to hop inside your enclosure, and I can only imagine how upset you must feel. Your pets are so important to you, and I completely understand how our actions could’ve caused you stress and disappointment. I take full responsibility for our thoughtlessness. There’s no excuse for not considering how it might affect you or your little friend. We definitely should’ve known better, and I’m truly sorry for that. We’ve already bought you a new guinea pig because we wanted to make it right, but I know that doesn’t completely fix what we did. I promise to be more mindful in the future and to think things through before acting. Your trust means a lot to me, and I hope we can rebuild that. I really value our friendship, and I want to make sure you feel comfortable talking to me if you ever feel upset about something I’ve done.
