Teasing You During Our Call

I want to say sorry for teasing you and making fun of you on the call earlier. I realize now that what I said probably came off as hurtful or dismissive, and that’s the last thing I ever wanted. I wasn’t thinking about how it might make you feel in the moment, and I’m sorry for crossing that line. You’re someone I really care about, and the last thing I want is to make you feel uncomfortable or upset, especially when we’re just trying to catch up. I take full responsibility for not being more thoughtful with my words. I’ll be more mindful moving forward and make sure I’m not making jokes at your expense, even if I think it’s all in good fun. If you want to talk about it or tell me how you felt, I’m here to listen. I value our friendship a lot and want to make sure I don’t mess things up between us. Thanks for hearing me out.
