I’m so sorry for what I said about your aunty. I didn’t mean to hurt you, and I can see now how my words were thoughtless and disrespectful. It was wrong of me to bring that up, especially knowing how much she means to you. I understand that it upset you, and it’s painful to think that I contributed to that feeling. I take full responsibility for this—there are no excuses for my behavior. I should have been more mindful and sensitive to your feelings. I value our friendship so much, and it hurts to think that I’ve put a strain on it with my careless words. To make it right, I promise to be more thoughtful and considerate in the future. I’ll work on being more aware of the things I say and how they might affect you or bring up difficult emotions. If you’re open to it, I’d love to talk more about this and hear how you're feeling.
