Denying Request to Use Vibrator Machine

I apologize for denying your request to use the vibrator machine when you asked. I realize my immediate refusal invalidated your wishes and likely left you feeling dismissed, embarrassed, and unsupported. I take full responsibility for my response. By shutting down your request rather than listening and discussing it, I failed to respect your autonomy and our ability to communicate honestly. I understand that this was about more than a single object or moment — it was about trust, sexual agency, and being able to ask for what you want from me as a friend. I am sorry for making you feel unheard and for not creating a safe, nonjudgmental space in that moment. There is no excuse for responding in a way that made you shrink back or doubt our friendship. To make this right, I will educate myself so I can respond more thoughtfully in future conversations about intimacy and boundaries. I will practice asking clarifying questions before reacting, and I will check in about how you would like to be treated when you bring up vulnerable topics. If you would like, I am willing to revisit the conversation about the vibrator machine on your terms, or to step back entirely if you prefer space.
