Canceling Our Game Session Last Minute

I’m really sorry for canceling our tabletop session at the last minute. I know how much we were both looking forward to it, and I hate that I left you hanging. When I started experiencing those kidney stones, it hit me out of nowhere, and I didn’t want to be a downer. But I realize now that my sudden cancellation may have disrupted your plans and left you feeling disappointed. Taking responsibility for this is important to me. I should have reached out sooner, instead of waiting until I was truly in too much pain to play. I can only imagine how frustrating that must have felt after all the excitement we’d built up. Our gaming sessions are something I treasure, and I understand how my actions might have made you feel unvalued or let down. To make it up to you, I’d love to reschedule the session as soon as I'm feeling better. I’m also going to make sure I have a backup plan in case something like this happens again, so you won’t have to deal with any last-minute cancellations in the future. I really appreciate your understanding, and I hope we can talk soon. I’d love to hear how you’re feeling about it all, whenever you’re ready. Thank you for being such an amazing friend.
