I'm so sorry I cheated on you. I betrayed the relationship we were building, and I take full responsibility for the hurt, shame, and confusion I've caused. There is no excuse for what I did. I chose something that damaged you and us, and I am deeply sorry. I know this has likely made you feel betrayed, disrespected, and unsure about everything we had. I understand that my actions may have broken your trust and made you question my love and honesty. That pain is my fault, and I will not minimize it. I miss you more than I can say, and that makes me even more ashamed that I hurt you. I promise I will not repeat this. To make that real, I have ended contact with the other person, blocked them, and deleted their number. I'm committing to full transparency: I'm willing to share my phone, accounts, and my schedule if that helps rebuild trust. I am also making an appointment with a therapist to understand why I made this choice and to change the behaviors that led to it. If you want, I will attend couples counseling with you when and if you feel ready. I know apologies don't erase what happened. I accept whatever time and space you need, and I understand if you need distance or decide this is unforgivable.
