Neglecting to Send a Get Well Card

I’m truly sorry for not sending you a get well card after your heart attack. I can only imagine how lonely and scared you felt during that time, and my silence must have added to your pain. You deserve so much better from me, especially as your sister. I take full responsibility for not reaching out when you needed support. I got caught up in my own world and failed to consider how my actions—or lack thereof—would affect you. You were facing a serious challenge, and I should have been there for you. Not just with a card, but with my presence and my love. I want to make things right. Moving forward, I promise to be more attentive and to check in on you regularly. I never want you to feel like you’re going through tough times alone, and I will actively work on being a better sister. I understand if you need time to process this. I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk, and I hope we can move forward together. You mean the world to me, and I want to rebuild that connection.
