Yelling Across the Field During Game

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions during the recent soccer game. Yelling across the field about why my grandson Ryan wasn’t playing in the second half was not only inappropriate but also disrespectful to you and the team's efforts. I realize that my frustration stemmed from a place of concern, but I understand now that my outburst likely added unnecessary pressure on both you and the players, particularly on Ryan. My behavior was out of line, and it was wrong of me to act independently without considering the environment you work so hard to cultivate. I’ve had conversations with my son Josh and daughter-in-law Ashley, who urged me to stop, and they helped me see how my actions may have affected Ryan’s experience and your coaching decisions. I take full responsibility and regret that my impulsive reaction could have overshadowed the positives of the game. Moving forward, I commit to being more supportive and respectful of your coaching decisions, understanding that my role is to be a positive influence for Ryan, rather than adding stress to the situation. I value the effort you put into guiding the team and hope to contribute in a more constructive way going forward. If you're open to it, I would appreciate the chance to discuss this further.
