I want to sincerely apologize for yelling across the field during yesterday's game. I realize that my outburst was not only disrespectful but also undermined your authority as the coach. It was a moment of frustration seeing the team struggling and wanting to see my grandson given a chance to contribute, but that’s no excuse for how I reacted. I can only imagine how my words affected you and the atmosphere you strive to create for the team. You work hard to make decisions that you believe are in the best interests of the players, and I disrespected that effort. I regret my choice to speak out in such a public way, and I understand that it may have made your job more difficult in that already challenging situation. Moving forward, I will make a concerted effort to express my concerns more appropriately and to support your decisions without raising my voice. I value the role you play in my grandson’s development as both a player and a person, and I want to ensure that I’m contributing positively to that environment. I hope you can understand that my actions do not reflect my respect for you and your leadership. I’m open to discussing this further if you feel comfortable, as I truly want to learn from this experience and rebuild any trust that may have been shaken. Thank you for considering my apology.
