I want to say I’m truly sorry for not being there when you needed me. I should have stepped up and supported you, and I regret that I didn’t. I can only imagine how lonely and frustrating that felt for you, and the last thing I ever wanted was to add to your struggle. I take full responsibility for my inaction. I know that my absence during that time made things harder for you, and I want you to know that it weighs heavily on me. You deserved better from me, especially as your brother. Moving forward, I’m committed to being more present and supportive. I’m going to make a conscious effort to check in with you regularly and ensure that you know I’m here for you, no matter what. If there’s ever a time you need me, I want you to feel comfortable reaching out, and I promise to respond. I understand that it might take some time for you to process this, and I respect that.
