Deleting Snap Accounts and Miscommunicating

I’m truly sorry for deleting our Snapchat accounts without discussing it with you first and for telling your mom about our private messages when you were grounded. I realize now how much that must have hurt you, and I can only imagine how betrayed you felt. You trusted me to keep our conversations private, and I violated that trust. It was wrong of me to take such a drastic step without involving you, especially when it relates to our personal space. I should have communicated my feelings first instead of making unilateral decisions that impact us both. I can see now how that would have made you feel unsupported and disrespected. Please know that I deeply regret my actions and the strain they’ve placed on our relationship. I want to rebuild that trust and ensure it doesn’t happen again. Moving forward, I promise to be more open and to discuss any concerns I have with you directly, instead of taking actions that might make things worse. I understand if you need some time to process this, but I’m here and ready to talk whenever you feel comfortable. You mean the world to me, and I want to work through this together.
