Using the Same Tone with Another Woman

I’m really sorry for the way I spoke to that other girl using the same tone I use with you. I didn’t stop to think about how that would make you feel, and I can see now that it hurt you and made you feel disrespected. You deserve to be treated with kindness and care, and I failed to show that in that moment. I take full responsibility for my words and the way I communicated. It wasn’t fair to you, and I’m sorry for crossing a boundary that’s important to our relationship. I realize that the way I speak to you is part of how we connect, and when I use that tone with someone else, it can feel dismissive or hurtful to you—and that’s the last thing I want. Going forward, I’m going to be more mindful about how I speak to others and make sure I’m not unintentionally making you feel overlooked or disrespected. I want to rebuild that trust and show you the respect you deserve every day. Whenever you feel ready, I’d like to talk about this more so I can understand better how you’re feeling and what I can do to make things right. I love you and want to do better by you.
