I want to sincerely apologize for not making the effort to truly understand your feelings and to convince you after our disagreement. I realize now that my silence or reluctance to engage left you feeling unheard and unsupported, and that was wrong. You deserve to know that your perspective matters deeply to me, especially when we’re facing difficult moments. I take full responsibility for not stepping up to bridge the gap between us when we needed it most. Instead of working through the fight together, I allowed distance to grow, and I see how that hurt you. I’m sorry for not showing you the care and commitment you deserve in that moment. Moving forward, I’m committed to being more present and proactive in our conversations, especially when we disagree. I want to listen without defensiveness and express myself clearly so we can find understanding rather than frustration.
