Going to Festival Without Informing You

I’m really sorry for going to the festival without letting you know first. I realize now how that might have made you feel, and I can see why you’d be upset. It was thoughtless of me to not communicate, and I completely understand if you feel hurt or sidelined because of it. I didn’t mean to make you feel unimportant or excluded. You’re such a big part of my life, and it wasn’t fair to keep something like that from you. I should have considered how much it would matter to share that with you, and I regret not doing so. Moving forward, I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again. I’m committed to being more open and communicative about my plans, especially when it comes to things that could affect us. You deserve to know what’s going on in my life, and I want to make sure you’re always included in my decisions. Please take your time to process this. I hope we can talk about it when you feel ready.
