I want to start by saying how truly sorry I am for leaving you the way I did, saying it wasn’t good to talk before marriage. I realize now how hurtful my words must have been, and I can only imagine the feelings of confusion and disappointment I caused you. You deserved far better than that from me. In that moment, I let my own misguided beliefs guide my actions, and I didn’t take into account how important open communication is in a relationship. I see now that my approach not only shut down a vital conversation but also made you feel unsupported and alone. It was wrong of me to dismiss your feelings and the very foundation of trust we’re building together. I want you to know that I am committed to doing better. Moving forward, I promise to prioritize our conversations, no matter how difficult they may seem. I want to create an environment where we feel safe to share and discuss everything. I’ll make an effort to truly listen and engage with you, and I hope we can find a way to address our differences together.
