Delaying Text Response Due to Work Project

I’m really sorry for not texting you sooner today. I got caught up in finishing that project file, and I completely lost track of time. I realize that by not keeping you in the loop, I made you feel ignored and frustrated, and that’s the last thing I ever want to do. I should have let you know what I was working on instead of leaving you hanging. It’s not fair to you, and I understand why you’re upset. I appreciate how patient and supportive you usually are, and I feel bad for making you feel otherwise. Going forward, I’ll make it a point to check in more regularly, especially when I know I’m going to be tied up for a while. I want you to feel valued and informed, and I’ll do better to communicate—no matter how busy I get. Thanks for your understanding, and I hope we can talk about this when you're ready. Your feelings matter to me, and I want to make sure we’re on the same page.
