Forgetting to Complete In-Class Assignment

I want to sincerely apologize for not completing the in-class assignment that was due yesterday. I completely forgot about it, as I had initially planned to work on it at home, but I lost track of time and ultimately didn’t follow through. I understand that my failure to submit the assignment not only affected my own learning but also added unnecessary stress to your classroom management. I realize that you put a lot of effort into planning lessons and assignments that help us grow, and it’s disappointing when students don’t meet those expectations. I appreciate the time and energy you invest in teaching us, and it’s never my intention to disregard your efforts. I take full responsibility for this oversight and want to assure you that I am committed to improving my time management skills moving forward. I plan to keep a dedicated planner to help me stay on track with assignments and set reminders in advance, so I don't find myself in this situation again. Thank you for your understanding, and if possible, I would appreciate any advice you might have on how I can better manage my workload. I value your guidance and hope we can move past this incident.
