I want to sincerely apologize for the way I responded to your reminder about checking the calendar. I realize now that my words came across as rude and dismissive, and that was never my intention. I wasn’t thinking through what I was writing, and I’m truly sorry for any frustration or disappointment I caused you. I understand that as my teacher, you’re trying to help me stay organized and responsible, and my attitude didn’t show the respect you deserve. I take full responsibility for how I communicated and know that it made things harder for you instead of easier. I appreciate your patience and the understanding you showed when I first told you I couldn’t make it to the game. Moving forward, I will make a better effort to check the schedule carefully and communicate more thoughtfully, so I don’t put you in a difficult position again. I value your guidance and want to make sure I’m showing that through my actions and words. If you’re open to it, I’d like to talk more about how I can improve and be more reliable in the future.
