I am so sorry I didn’t call last night like I promised. I said I would, and I didn’t follow through — that was my responsibility and I failed you. I know my silence probably felt like being ignored, unimportant, or left wondering what was going on, and I hate that I made you feel that way. There’s no excuse for not checking in.
