Disrespecting You Over Sibling Affection

I want to start by apologizing from the depths of my heart for how I spoke to you. When I reacted to what you said about loving my siblings more, I disrespected you and dismissed your feelings. I realize now that my words were hurtful and ungrateful, especially when I know how much love you have for all of us. It wasn’t right of me to lash out and say things I didn’t mean in the heat of the moment. You have given so much to our family, and I should have approached our conversation with kindness and understanding, rather than defensiveness. I understand that my reaction must have made you feel undervalued and unappreciated, and I hate that I caused you pain. I’m committed to being more mindful of my words and emotions in the future. I want to work on communicating better, especially during tough conversations, so that we can share our feelings without stepping on each other’s hearts. I’d love to find a way for us to talk about this more, whenever you feel ready. Your feelings matter to me, and I want to make sure you know how much I love and appreciate you.
