I’m really sorry for letting someone carry me like that. I know it probably made you feel uncomfortable or worried, and I hate that my actions caused you to feel that way. You deserve my full respect and trust, and I didn’t honor that in that moment. I want you to know I’m taking responsibility for crossing a boundary that should have been clear to me. There’s no excuse—I should have been more mindful of how that might affect you and our relationship. I realize now that even if it seemed harmless to me at the time, it wasn’t fair to you, and I regret not thinking it through better. Moving forward, I’m going to be more aware of how my behavior impacts you and make sure I’m acting in a way that reflects the respect and love I have for you. If there’s anything specific you want me to do or talk through, I’m here and ready to listen. I want to rebuild any trust I might have shaken and make sure we’re both comfortable and secure. Whenever you’re ready, I’d like to talk about this more—no pressure, just whenever you feel up to it. I love you and want us to feel strong and safe together.
