I’m truly sorry for making you feel like I didn’t care about you or enjoy being your girlfriend. That was never my intention, but I realize how my actions—or lack of showing my feelings—hurt you deeply. You needed comfort and to feel my softer side, and I failed to give you that when you needed it most. I can only imagine how lonely and unloved that must have made you feel, and I hate that I caused you that pain. I take full responsibility for not being more present and affectionate. I see now that I wasn’t showing up for you in the way you deserved, and I’m sorry for the distance that created between us. I want you to know that I do care—so much—and I want to work on being more open and nurturing in our relationship. Moving forward, I’m committed to listening more closely, sharing my feelings honestly, and making sure you feel supported and cherished. Please take all the time you need to process this.
