Ignoring Your Question

I want to begin by sincerely apologizing for my response when you asked me that important question. I recognize that my choice not to prioritize you in that moment deeply hurt you, and I deeply regret how my words affected you. You deserved my full attention and consideration, and I failed to provide that. I understand that my action made you feel undervalued and unimportant, which is the opposite of what you mean to me. You have always supported me, and I realize that my response might have made you feel isolated or dismissed. I take full responsibility for my thoughtlessness and the pain it caused you. There are no excuses for my behavior, and I am genuinely remorseful for not being more mindful of your feelings. Moving forward, I am committed to being more attentive and intentional in our conversations. I want to make sure that you feel heard and cherished, as you rightfully should. I will also take the time to reflect on how my actions may impact you, so I can be a better partner. I understand if you need time to process this, but I hope we can discuss it further when you feel ready. Your feelings are important to me, and I want to work through this together.
