Apologizing for Concealing Our Friendship

I’m truly sorry for what happened between us, and I need to take full responsibility for my actions. I let external pressures and jealousy dictate how I treated our friendship, and I regret that I allowed myself to argue with you, pretending we weren't friends when all I wanted was to support you. I realize now how hurtful that must have been for you. You deserved honesty and loyalty from me, especially during a time when we were facing challenges from others. Instead, I chose to put on a façade, thinking it would protect us, but it only deepened the rift between us. It pains me to think that my actions made you feel undervalued and betrayed. I’m committed to making things right. I want to rebuild the trust that was broken, and I promise to be more transparent and honest in all our conversations moving forward. I’ve learned that true friendship means standing together, not letting fear dictate my actions. I completely understand if you need time to process all of this.
