Making an Awkward Request

Hey, I just wanted to say I’m really sorry for that weird moment when I asked about your butt. Honestly, what was I thinking? It was totally out of line, and I can imagine it made you uncomfortable. That was never my intention, and I feel terrible for putting you in that position. Looking back, I realize I crossed a boundary and probably made you question my sense of humor—or worse, our friendship. I get it if you’re feeling a little weird about things right now; I would too. I want you to know that I take full responsibility for my actions and promise to think twice before letting my mouth run wild again. To make it right, I’m all in for a do-over on our hangout plans—maybe a fun movie night where I can redeem myself with popcorn instead of awkward questions? No weirdness, just good times and laughter. And I’ll commit to keeping my comments to myself unless they’re about how awesome you are (which is always true). I respect whatever space you need, but I hope we can chat soon. I really value our friendship and don’t want this to be a weird bump in the road.
