Breaking a Promise About Backchodi

I’m really sorry for breaking my promise about not engaging in backchodi with you. I realize now that it probably felt like I didn’t take our agreement seriously, and that must have been frustrating for you. You’ve always been someone I respect and value, and I can see how my actions might have made you feel let down or disrespected. I own my mistake completely; there’s no excuse for it. I know I said I’d be better about this, and I didn’t follow through. It’s important to me that you know I’m committed to doing better. I want to make sure it doesn’t happen again, so I’ll be more mindful of the words I choose and the jokes I make, especially when it’s just the two of us. Your friendship means a lot to me, and the last thing I want to do is jeopardize that. If you’re up for it, I’d love to chat and hear how you’re feeling about this.
