I’m really sorry for missing Rose Day and not reaching out to you when I know how much it means to us. I messed up by not being there to celebrate our friendship on a day that’s special to both of us, and I can imagine it hurt or disappointed you. That was never my intention, but I take full responsibility for not making the effort. You’ve always been such an important part of my life — my bestie of my heart — and I hate that I made you feel unappreciated or overlooked. I want you to know I’m truly sorry for that and that I value you and our bond so much. Moving forward, I’m going to be more mindful about these moments that matter to you, and I want to make it up by planning something together soon that celebrates us properly.
