Overlooking Your Message on the Picture

I’m really sorry for how I reacted to your picture and missed the text on it. Looking back, I realize I was rude and dismissive, and that wasn’t fair to you at all. I can imagine that made you feel like I wasn’t paying attention or didn’t care about what you shared, and that’s the last thing I want between us. I take full responsibility for not being more thoughtful and for how my words came across. You took the time to send something meaningful, and I should have been more present and respectful in my response. I’m genuinely sorry for making you feel overlooked or hurt. Going forward, I’m going to be more mindful when you share things with me—really taking the time to notice and appreciate what you’re saying, not just skimming or reacting without thinking. I value our friendship a lot and want to make sure I’m showing that better. If you’re up for it, I’d love to talk more about this whenever you feel ready.
