I’m really sorry for eating your chicken nuggets. I know you were looking forward to them, and I completely messed up by taking something that was yours without asking. It was thoughtless, and I can only imagine how annoying and frustrating that must have been for you—especially when it’s something you were saving for yourself. I take full responsibility for not respecting your food and your space. There’s no excuse for it, and I want you to know I get why it hurt your trust a bit. I’ll make sure to check in before grabbing anything that’s not mine from now on, so this doesn’t happen again. If you want, I’d be happy to replace the nuggets or get you something you really want as a way to make it up to you. I value our friendship and don’t want something dumb like this to come between us.
