Making Fun of Your Catfish Face

I want to say I’m really sorry for making fun of your catfish’s long face. I realize now that what I said was thoughtless and hurtful, and I didn’t stop to think about how it might make you feel. I know how much your cat means to you, and by joking like that, I disrespected something important to you—and that wasn’t okay. There’s no excuse for teasing something you care about, especially in a way that could come across as mean or insensitive. I take full responsibility for my words, and I want you to know I regret making you feel uncomfortable or upset. It wasn’t my intention to hurt you, but I understand that my actions did just that. Going forward, I’m going to be more mindful of what I say and how it might affect you. If I ever slip up again, please call me out—I want to do better because your feelings and our friendship matter a lot to me. If you’re open to it, I’d really like to talk more about this or anything else on your mind. But I also respect whatever space or time you need. Thanks for hearing me out.
