Misunderstanding Visit Timing

I’m truly sorry for my visit to your grandparents and how it affected you. I realize now that my decision to go without fully understanding how you felt about the timing didn’t consider your feelings, especially as you're preparing to welcome your baby girl. It hurts to think that my actions may have added to your stress during such a pivotal time in your life. I take full responsibility for not picking up on your true feelings and for not communicating better. I never intended to upset you or make you feel like you had to choose between supporting family and your own needs. I wish I had asked more questions or paused to listen more deeply to what you were feeling before making plans. Moving forward, I promise to be more attuned to your feelings and to prioritize open communication between us. I want us to be able to share our thoughts and feelings freely, especially during such significant moments. I understand if you need some time to process this, but I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk. You mean so much to me, and I hope we can move past this together.
