I’m so sorry for what I did to Amy. There’s no way to sugarcoat it—I took something from you that can’t be replaced, and I’m fully responsible for that. I can only imagine how hurt and betrayed you must feel right now, and I hate that I caused you this pain and left you without someone who meant so much to you. I don’t want to make excuses or try to explain away what happened. It was wrong, plain and simple. I should have thought about the consequences of my actions, but I didn’t, and that’s on me. Amy was important to both of you, and I robbed you of that connection. I’m truly sorry for the emptiness and anger this has brought into your life. While I can’t undo the past, I want to do whatever I can to make amends. If you’re open to it, I’d like to talk about how I can start making things right or support you however you need. I understand if you need space or time before that happens—I’m here whenever you’re ready. I hope someday we can find a way to move forward, even if it takes time. Your friendship and happiness matter to me more than I’ve shown, and I want to earn back your trust, one step at a time.
