Neglecting to Send a Get Well Card

I’m so sorry for not sending you a get well card after your heart attack. I can only imagine how isolating it must have felt to think that no one in the family cares. I want you to know that I do care deeply, and my failure to reach out has only added to your pain. I take full responsibility for not being there for you during such a critical time. I should have been more attentive and supportive, and I regret that my actions—or lack thereof—made you feel neglected. It was completely wrong of me, and I can only imagine how this has affected your sense of family and connection. Going forward, I’m committed to making sure this doesn’t happen again. I want to be there for you, not just in words but in actions. I promise to check in more regularly and to show you how much you mean to me and to our family. You deserve that.
