I want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience I caused recently and for not speaking up sooner. I realize that my delay in addressing the issue ended up wasting your time, and that was completely avoidable. I can imagine how frustrating it must have been to deal with the situation without clear communication from me, and I’m truly sorry for any added stress or disruption it caused in your day. There’s no excuse for not being more proactive or considerate, and I take full responsibility for not handling things better. Moving forward, I’m going to make sure I communicate promptly and clearly, especially if anything might affect you or the neighborhood. I value having you as a neighbor and want to be someone you can rely on rather than a source of hassle.
