Regretting Misunderstanding Your Feelings

I’m truly sorry for how I reacted to what I heard about you saying you didn’t want to be with me, even if I changed. I let my fear and insecurities get the best of me, and I realize now how that must have hurt you. I should have communicated with you directly instead of believing what others said, and I regret not giving you a chance to explain your feelings. I can only imagine how my actions affected you, and I want you to know that I take full responsibility for that. I was so scared of losing you that I shut down and pushed you away instead of opening up to you. I see now that my reaction only added to the confusion and pain between us. I deeply regret every moment that I let doubt take over, and I wish I could take it back. I want to learn from this so it doesn’t happen again. I’m committed to being more communicative and understanding moving forward, to ensure we can have the honest conversations that we both deserve. I miss what we had, and I genuinely hope that we can find a way to reconnect. I understand if you need time and space, but I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk. You mean so much to me, and I hope we can work through this together.
