Apologizing for Giving False Relationship Hopes

I want to sincerely apologize for the way I handled things between us. I recognize that I gave you false hope about being in a relationship while I was still figuring out my own feelings. It was unfair to lead you on and then ultimately pull away, especially when I know how much that must have hurt you. I understand how my actions may have made you feel confused and frustrated. Being in a situation where you thought something could develop, only to find out I wasn't ready, is something I regret deeply. I see now that my indecision impacted you, and for that, I am truly sorry. I did not intend for you to feel abandoned or disrespected, and I regret that my choices may have contributed to any resentment you may feel towards my current relationship. This was never about you or your worth. I can see that you have changed, and I hope that change is leading you to a place of growth and happiness. Moving forward, I commit to being more honest and transparent in my relationships to avoid putting anyone in such a difficult position again. I hope you can find it in yourself to forgive me for my mistakes. Please know that I wish you nothing but the best in life.
