Overreacting to Workplace Intimidation

I want to apologize for how I handled things recently. I realize that my reaction came across as over the top and may have put you on the defensive, which wasn’t my intention. I stirred things up, and while my goal was to address some serious issues I noticed, I see now that the way I went about it may have felt confrontational or unfair to you. I take full responsibility for letting my frustration affect how I interacted with you. I understand that this probably made your work environment more difficult and may have damaged the trust between us. That’s the last thing I want, especially since we need to work closely together. Moving forward, I’m committed to communicating concerns more directly and respectfully, and to addressing problems through the proper channels without escalating tensions. I value the role you play on the team and want to find a way to move past this so we can collaborate effectively. If you’re open to it, I’d appreciate a chance to talk through this and hear your perspective. I’m ready to listen and work together on improving how we handle these situations in the future.
